RULES AND REGULATIONS

PROMOTUR Turismo Canarias S.A. organises “The Canary Islands Dive Photo Challenge” contest under the technical guidance of Enrique Faber. By the mere fact of participating, the competitor accepts the contest’s Rules and the General Regulations.

Whilst you are not required to upload the photographs on the same day, you will have more chances the sooner you participate. This means that in any of the categories (except Portfolio*) the system will allow you to upload a maximum of 12 photographs if you take part during the first month of the contest; a maximum of 10 photographs if you do so in the second month; and a maximum of 8 photographs in the third month.

*In the Portfolio category, the five photographs have to be entered at the same time.

A Judging Panel comprising prestigious professionals from the fields of underwater photography, art or any activity considered to be propitious for this purpose shall rate the photographs and establish their qualification. The Panel shall announce their verdict on 20 June 2016 or on any alternative date that may be established and which in both cases shall be announced on this website.
